Scope Arken EP-5 Gen 2 7-35x56 TOR MIL
The Arken EP-5 Gen 2 in 7-35x56 is one of the sharpest-priced long-range scopes in its class. This version carries the TOR reticle, The One Reticle. Where the VPR gives a busier picture with more holdover points, the TOR goes for calm and clarity. Fewer lines, a more open centre and MIL only. For shooters who want to range and hold quickly without the image cluttering up, that's a welcome choice.
Everything else matches the VPR version. Second-generation EP-5, 7 to 35x magnification and a 56mm objective. Enough range to move from zeroing at 100 metres straight into work at distance.
Reticle and focal plane
The reticle sits in the first focal plane. It scales with magnification, so your subtensions hold true at every setting. That keeps holdovers and wind corrections reliable without having to dial up to maximum magnification. The red illumination has six levels and helps in low light or against a dark target.
Adjustment and mechanics
The turrets adjust in 0.1 Mrad per click and turn counterclockwise. The Arken Zero Stop lets you dial back to your zero blind after a correction, you feel where it stops. Parallax is set on the side turret, from 25 yards (22.86 metres) to infinity. The 34mm tube allows for plenty of adjustment range, useful for those reaching out far.
