Anyone looking to get the maximum from their setup ends up at the top model. The Telson Optics Target Master Victory 5-32x56 is that scope. Telson has put everything they have into it: the best glass, the sturdiest turrets and a magnification range that stays usable out to extreme distance.

The FAR2 reticle sits in the first focal plane. On an FFP scope the reticle scales with magnification, so your MRAD values hold true at every setting. For long range shooting that is a requirement: you measure, compensate and correct without thinking about your magnification. The reticle is illuminated across six levels, with an off position between each level.

Turrets and operation

The turrets are made of stainless steel and designed for competition. They lock, have a zero stop and a two-turn indicator that shows which rotation you are on. Each click is 1/10 MIL, audible and tactile, and the turret turns counterclockwise (CCW). Per rotation you adjust 15 MIL of elevation. The Razorback knurling gives grip, even with gloves.

You set parallax via a side wheel, focusing from 15 yards to infinity. The eye box is generous and the eye relief comfortable, so you get behind the scope quickly.

Optics and build quality

The optical heart is Japanese Apochromatic Plus ED glass with an AR coating that transmits 99.8% of the light. On top of that comes Telson's new UHD fully multi-coated lens coating. The result is an image that stays clear and colour-accurate, even at high magnification and in difficult light. The 56mm objective gathers plenty of light, which counts at dusk.

The tube is one-piece and made from 6061-T6 aluminium with a matte type 3 anodised finish. The scope is argon-purged and IP67 certified, so fully waterproof and dustproof. It is .50 BMG rated and assembled and calibrated in a static-free clean room. Telson backs it with a lifetime warranty. An ARD sunshade is included; Tenebraex flip-up covers are available separately.
