Mounting Across One-and-a-Half M-LOK Slots
For maximum stability, the Fortmeier M-LOK adapter uses an innovative design where the mount spans one-and-a-half M-LOK slots and is secured with 3 screws. This provides significantly more grip than a standard single-slot mounting system.
The three attachment points distribute forces evenly across the handguard, especially important with heavy calibers or rapid position changes during PRS competitions.
Position: Primarily 6:00 (Below Barrel)
With standard M-LOK handguards featuring a Picatinny top rail, the Fortmeier M-LOK adapter can only be used in the 6:00 position (below the barrel). This is the most common configuration and suits the majority of modern tactical rifles.
Note: If you have an M-LOK handguard with M-LOK slots on top (as with newer versions of the Ruger Precision Rifle), you can also use the adapter in the 12:00 position. For this, you only need to relocate the limiting screw for the cant angle in the adapter.

Installation and Use
Installation requires only a T25 Torx key or comparable tool. The three screws are tightened through the M-LOK slots according to Magpul's recommended torque specs (approximately 15 inch-pounds).
It's important to mount the adapter across one-and-a-half slots as intended, not in separate individual slots. This guarantees structural integrity and prevents the adapter from rotating or moving under load.
Once installed, the adapter provides the standard Versa-Pod interface where your Fortmeier bipod clicks in. The bipod can then be placed and removed tool-free, ideal for quick adjustments in the field.
