Air rifle pellets
Anyone who has an air rifle also needs air rifle pellets. Logical, otherwise you can't shoot with your air rifle. And that would be a shame because airgun shooting is a really fun hobby. Synonyms for an air rifle are air rifle, air pressure rifle and the term wind rifle is also used. Obviously, it is a rifle. It is a rifle in which the charge is propelled outward by the expansion of compressed gases. So that works very differently from a real firearm with deadly bullets in it. The pressure in a real gun is created by an actual explosion of, say, the gunpowder present in the bullet. For air rifles, it works very differently and therefore requires special air rifle pellets.

By the way, there are several method by which air rifle pellets are launched. As the pressure built up by the propulsion system is greater, the speed at which the bullet will be fired becomes a lot higher and with it the accuracy and range.
What systems are there for firing air rifle pellets?
Essentially, two methods are distinguished. One is the spring pressure system and the other is the gas pressure system.
Spring pressure systems build up air pressure by using a piston in the rifle assembly. This is pushed forward at lightning speed into the cylinder by a special spring technology. There is a small hole there that exits into the barrel. The spring must be tensioned manually, that is, manually. The tensioning moves the piston to the most backward position and locks it in place. Pulling the trigger then causes the piston to be released after which the air rifle pellets are launched.
In the case of gas pressure, it is built up separately for each shot by the operator, such as by handling a side tension lever. The pressure in some air rifles can be built up with one movement but there are also air rifles where the pressure that will launch the air rifle pellets is built up by making several pumping movements. This, of course, works less quickly.
What's fun about an air rifle?
The simple spring-powered air rifles have mainly hobby purposes. They have very limited accuracy and the bullet has little power. However, there are outdoor disciplines (also called Field Target or Air Rifle Silhouette Shooting) that involve extremely powerful air rifle rifles. Some of the air rifle pellets, when used with such weapons, travel as far as 300 meters per second. It is even possible to hunt small game such as birds and rabbits with such applications. Thus, the air rifle bullets coming from such guns are no longer completely harmless. As a matter of fact, in practice, fatal accidents do not occur very often.
Our bullets
We have a wide range of air rifle pellets on our website, including Veloci pellets. These pellets have a more robust design of the rim of the head which makes these air rifle pellets fit the barrel of the rifle better and cause less bounce in the barrel. So a high quality bullet for your air rifle and at an absolutely friendly price.
