HD optical system
The optical system uses high-definition extra-low dispersion glass elements that dramatically improve image resolution and significantly reduce chromatic aberration. Enhanced 16-48x magnification
The new magnification range of 16-48x provides more light to the eye at lower magnifications, resulting in brighter images and an increased field of view. This added lowest magnification of 16x makes it easier to quickly find targets, while the maximum 48x magnification provides sufficient detail for accurate long-range observations.
Streamlined design
The housing has been completely redesigned with a sleek, snag-free profile that easily fits in a backpack with no protruding parts to catch. The spiral helical focus wheel is elegantly integrated into the housing and provides fast and accurate focusing with minimal movements. This ergonomic focus ring operates well even with gloves.
Durable construction
The housing is sealed with O-rings and gas-filled to guarantee 100% waterproofing and fog resistance. The rubber armour provides excellent shock protection and ensures a secure, non-slip grip under all conditions. The ArmorTek coating on external lenses protects against scratches, oil, dirt, and fingerprints, keeping the optics easy to clean and looking good for years.
Integrated sunshade
The built-in retractable sunshade prevents lens flares during observations in bright sunlight and protects the front lens from rain and snow. Adjustable eyecup
The twist-up eyecup can be twisted up and down for comfortable viewing with or without glasses. Eyeglass wearers twist the eyecup inward for full use of the field of view, while users without glasses extend the eyecup for optimal comfort and protection against side light. The soft rubber coating provides pleasant contact with the face.
Arca-Swiss compatibility
The Diamondback HD comes standard with an Arca-Swiss compatible tripod foot, enabling direct mounting to Arca-Swiss tripod heads without extra plates or adapters. Angled or straight eyepiece
