The operation is straightforward. Fill the mould with water up to the fill line and place it in your freezer. After freezing overnight, you'll have a solid ice block that fits perfectly over a standard beer crate. Before use, leave the ice block next to the freezer for about 15 to 20 minutes so it releases more easily from the mould. Place the block over your crate and grab your first cold beer after half an hour.
A handy tip: start with the bottles in the middle and move the outer ones toward the centre. This way you'll get the most out of the cooling effect.

The DL Ice Block fits all Dutch and Belgian beer crates with a handle in the middle. This includes Heineken, Amstel, Grolsch, Hertog Jan, Jupiler and many others. The mould is designed so the ice surrounds each bottle neck, ensuring all bottles cool evenly.
