For those regularly processing military brass, the APP with optional primer pocket swage kit is indispensable. The system automatically removes military primer crimps as fast as you can operate the lever. Combined with the APP Deprime kit, you effortlessly process thousands of cases per session.
The Breech Lock bullet sizer enables nose-first bullet sizing, the most accurate and distortion-free method. Because you're pushing on the bullet base, no special nose punches are required. Sized bullets automatically drop into an attached container, perfect for popular powder coated bullets.
For pistol shooters processing range brass, the APP Bulge Buster Kit effectively resolves low base bulges caused by chambers without full support. This problem commonly occurs in mixed range brass and is automatically corrected during the process.
Practical Use and Setup
The Deluxe APP is delivered as a complete system with all necessary components. Installation is straightforward thanks to the Breech Lock system that accepts standard 7/8-14 dies from any manufacturer. The press also uses standard press shell holders from most manufacturers, meaning you can continue using your existing accessories.
The stroke of over 7.5 cm makes it possible to process even larger belted magnum cartridges. When you're finished priming, simply twist out the priming tool and replace it with the supplied shell holder adapter, after which you can use all APP accessories.
For optimal results, it's advisable to lubricate cases when sizing rifle cartridges. Keep the case feeder clean and free from debris for reliable feeding. The press requires minimal maintenance, light lubrication of moving parts is sufficient to keep everything running smoothly.
