K&M's precision reloading arbor press is a sturdy tool you can use at home or on the shooting range. This press is perfect for setting bullets inline and calibrating cartridges. A convenient reference scale is etched on the column of the press for easy height adjustment. The base has a target marker for accurately placing your die under the press punch.

You can achieve consistency and accuracy by having the "feel" when the ball is placed in the neck of the sleeve. This is crucial for the best results. Our newly designed arbor press offers a very smooth and improved experience, giving the reloader that all-important sensitive feedback. Mounting holes are provided in the base to securely attach the press to your workbench.

To determine which force pack is best, the decision point between the standard force pack and the low force pack is based on the neck tension for which the neck is sized. The typical rule of thumb for using the low force pack is neck tensions of .0015-.002" or less. The scale on the low force pack is 0-50 lbs. Therefore, when sitting with light neck tension, you will have better resolution for lower force measurements.

The standard force pack range is 0-150 lbs, which can handle almost any neck tension.

Using the K+M arbor press.

• The ability to "feel" the bullet as it is inserted into the sleeve is very important to achieve consistency and accuracy. Our newly designed knee lift arbor press has a very smooth and much improved feel to give the reloader that critical sensitive feedback.
• Perfectly suited for use with in-line ball placement and bush neck dies such as LE Wilson.
• Compact size for use on the loading table or shooting range.
• No need to permanently mount the press on your loading bench: however, mounting holes are provided if desired.
• The working height of the press is adjustable from 0" to 7.5" or 0" to 6" when one of the power packs is used.
• The height can be adjusted by loosening 2 screws on the right side of the press head with the supplied Allen wrench.
• 1" press ram stroke.
• Two available force packs are mounted on the ram to measure the force required to place the ball. The standard force package uses a dial indicator where 0.001" deflection equals one pound of force. The maximum force is about 150 pounds. A low force pack allows a more sensitive range for competition shooters who place bullets with very light neck tension. This requires a custom K&M dial gauge (P/N DI50) and the maximum force is about 50 lbs.
