This oil does three things at once. It lubricates the moving parts of your firearm so everything keeps running smoothly, it helps loosen powder residue and dirt during cleaning, and it lays down a protective film against corrosion and wear. The synthetic base stays stable across a huge temperature range, from -54°C to +150°C, so whether you are lying on a freezing range or your barrel has run hot, the lubrication holds up. What to use it on
The HOP.nl Gun Oil suits bolt action rifles, semi-automatic rifles, sporting rifles and the fine mechanical parts of your firearm. Think of the bolt and its raceways, the trigger group, pivot points and every metal-on-metal contact surface. A thin film is enough, with a good oil more is not better.
How to use it
First clean and dry the part you want to treat. Use the precision tip to apply a small amount of oil to the contact surfaces, work the mechanism a few times so the film spreads, and wipe off any excess with a clean cloth. For preservation during storage, apply a slightly heavier film to the bare metal parts. A little, often, works better than a lot now and then.
