Accuracy Solutions
Accuracy Solutions, based in Southern California, makes the BipodeXt, a telescoping stabilizer that moves your bipod forward towards the muzzle. The longer distance between stock and support point makes your rifle less sensitive to small movements behind it. That means a steadier sight picture and, depending on your setup, more control over recoil. Designed and manufactured in the USA.

The principle behind the BipodeXt
Your rifle rests on two points: the bipod up front and your shoulder or a rear bag at the back. In a typical setup the bipod sits under the forend, on many precision rifles around 70 cm from the toe of the stock. That's the pivot.
Move a fraction at the rear and the rifle tilts around that point. The size of the angle comes down to one ratio: the movement divided by the distance between stock and bipod. Lengthen that distance and the same movement produces a smaller angle.
In numbers: with the bipod at 70 cm, 1 mm of movement at the stock creates an angle of 1.43 mrad. Move the support point to 110 cm with a BipodeXt and it drops to 0.91 mrad, more than a third less. At 1000 metres 1 mrad equals one metre, so at long range every hundredth counts.
This is a simplified model of a rigid rifle tilting around the bipod. In practice your shoulder, the rear bag and the ground also absorb movement, so treat it as an explanation of the principle rather than a measured reduction in group size. From idea to product
It started simply. Founder Daniel Gyurec lost a friendly shooting match and wondered how the platform could be more stable. Days later he had a prototype of pipes and duct tape mounted on his rifle. It worked. Not pretty, but it worked. That prototype evolved into the BipodeXt, now in its fourth generation and used by competition and ELR shooters around the world.
In 2016 Gyurec founded Accuracy Solutions in Southern California together with Robert Mitchell, a friend of decades. The company makes everything in the USA: carbon tubes, 6061-T6 aluminium components, assembly and quality control.
BipodeXt
The BipodeXt is a telescoping extension that mounts between your rifle and your bipod. Carbon tubes slide into each other, you set the length you need, and your bipod sits dozens of centimetres further forward than usual. Shooters report spotting their own impacts through the scope more often than with a regular bipod setup at the same distance.
The fourth generation mounts on both ARCA and Picatinny without extra parts. Thanks to the quick-detach clamps, the BipodeXt comes off your rifle in seconds. The carbon tubes are light yet stiff, and rotating the round tube in its clamp lets you correct cant before you lock it down.

The BipodeXt MSR Pro Gen4 suits most precision rifles. It carries rifles up to 13.6 kg (excluding bipod), extends from 38.6 to 55.9 cm and weighs 0.94 kg. On a Picatinny rail it's rated up to .375 CheyTac, on ARCA up to .300 Win Mag.
For heavy ELR rifles there's the BipodeXt ELR Max A&P Gen4. It carries up to 29.5 kg, extends from 51.4 to 99.6 cm and is built for calibres such as .416 Barrett and .50 BMG.
The Queen's Equalizer Kits let the rifle sit lower on the BipodeXt. The standard kit lowers it by 5.2 to 7.5 cm, the MINI kit by 2.7 to 4.9 cm. Looking for another model from the BipodeXt range, such as the PRS version? Ask us about the options.

It's aimed at shooters who want to build a rifle around maximum stability.
Collaboration with Eduardo Abril de Fontcuberta
The F.A.S.T. chassis (Fontcuberta Advanced Sniper and Tactical) was developed with Eduardo Abril de Fontcuberta, sniper instructor, competition shooter and match director of the King of 2-Mile. It brought practical experience from the most extreme shooting disciplines together with Accuracy Solutions' engineering.
