Electronic Scope Level ACD dual indicator - Vector Optics
Cant is one of those things you do not notice at 100 metres but that puts your shot off target at 600. A rifle tilted a few degrees introduces both windage and elevation errors, and those grow as distance increases. Most shooters know this. Yet a surprising number still shoot with a bubble level they can barely read, or none at all.
Two indicators, zero head movement
The clever part of this system is the dual indicator. The main unit mounts on the side of your scope on a Weaver rail and has an LED that lights green when you are level and red when you have cant. You see it in your peripheral vision without moving your head.
On top of that, a second LED ring sits on the eyepiece of your scope. It does the same thing but is visible while looking through your scope. You can check your cant without lifting your head off the stock. In PRS, where speed matters and you do not want to lose your position, that is a significant advantage.
Sensitivity and brightness
Five sensitivity levels. At the lowest setting the system only reacts to significant cant, at the highest to the smallest deviation. Set it to what suits your discipline. In PRS you probably want a medium sensitivity so you can react fast enough. In F-Class or benchrest you set it to the highest level.
Three brightness levels for the LEDs, adjustable to the lighting conditions. On a dark indoor range you want less intensity than on a sunny outdoor range.
Build and weather resistance
The main unit is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium. 58 grams. You will not notice it on your rifle. IP65 means fully dustproof and resistant to water jets from any direction. Rain, mud, a drop from the bench, the system keeps working. The internal battery charges via USB-C, so no dealing with CR2032 coin cells that go flat at the wrong moment.
Compatibility
The main unit works on any scope with a Weaver or picatinny rail on the body. The eyepiece LED ring is specifically compatible with Vector Optics scopes: Continental, Tauron, Paragon, Orion, Minotaur, Grizzly, Sentinel (except the 8-34x50), Veyron GenII and Hugo. Have a scope from another brand? The body indicator still works, only the eyepiece ring will not fit.
