The LEM Plus by Shooting Technology is an electromagnetic brass case cleaner that uses neodymium magnets and stainless steel micro-needles to get your brass cases spotlessly clean in 15 to 40 minutes. No tumbler, no walnut media, no dust: just water, a squirt of dish soap, and the included stainless steel micro-needles. The result is brass that looks brand new, both on the outside and inside, including the primer pocket.
How Does the LEM Plus Work?
The LEM Plus features a rotating platform with strategically placed neodymium magnets. The eccentric positioning of the magnets relative to the center of the tank creates a "shaking" effect that continuously moves the brass through the cleaning solution. The micro-needles are dragged through the liquid by the electromagnetic field and exert a polishing action on all surfaces of the case, including hard-to-reach areas like the primer pocket and flash hole.
This method delivers significantly cleaner results compared to traditional methods such as tumbling with walnut media or ultrasonic cleaning. Where walnut media mainly polishes the exterior, the LEM Plus micro-needles thoroughly reach the inside of the case and the primer pocket as well.

Practical Use
- Place your brass cases in the supplied plastic tank
- Add water, a squirt of dish soap, and optionally a small amount of anti-limescale liquid
- Add the stainless steel micro-needles
- Turn on the machine and let it run for 15-20 minutes for pistol brass or 30-40 minutes for rifle brass
- Manually switch off the machine when the cleaning cycle is complete
- Separate the micro-needles from your brass (optional magnetic recovery tool sold separately)
- Dry the cases and they are ready for reloading
Tip: The magnetic needle recovery tool is a handy addition available separately. It allows you to easily separate the micro-needles from your brass after cleaning.
