RCBS Bullet Lubricant, Reliable Lubricant for Cast Bullets
RCBS Bullet Lubricant was developed in cooperation with top-rated competition shooters who work with cast lead bullets. This lubricant prevents leading in the barrel and significantly improves the accuracy of your cast bullets.
Why RCBS Bullet Lubricant?
The composition of this lubricant is based on a proven formula of 50% Alox and 50% beeswax, developed according to NRA specifications. This combination provides excellent lubrication at the higher velocities and temperatures typical of rifle cartridges. The result is reduced leading, a cleaner barrel, and more consistent group sizes.
The non-toxic composition is temperature resistant, meaning the lubricant won't melt or run in warm conditions. This is important for shooters who train on summer days or at competitions where your equipment is exposed to direct sunlight.
Compatibility and Usage
This hollow stick fits the RCBS Lube-A-Matic Sizer/Lubricator and virtually all other lubri-sizers that use a 1" x 4" hollow stick, including Lyman models. Simply place the stick in the lubricator, set the lubrication pressure, and process your bullets in one smooth motion. Each bullet receives a consistent layer of lubricant in the lube grooves.
For optimal results, RCBS recommends using a lube heater. This is not strictly necessary, but the lubricant flows more smoothly and you achieve an even more uniform distribution over the bullet.
Intended Applications
This lubricant is ideal for precision shooters who cast their own bullets for F-class, benchrest, long-range shooting, or recreational use. By casting and lubricating yourself, you have complete control over the quality and consistency of your ammunition.
Note: The Rifle version is intended for outdoor use only. For indoor shooting ranges, the RCBS Handgun Bullet Lubricant is more suitable due to its adjusted composition.
