Adorini built this table lighter around a block of ebony, finished in several coats of high gloss lacquer. The dark grain still shows through, set off by a gold ignition button on top and a gold band around the base. Next to a humidor or a bottle of single malt, it looks completely at home.

Refilling and lighting
Stick to clean, filtered butane such as Unlite lighter gas. Cheap gas carries impurities that slowly clog the nozzle of a jet burner.
Take the insert out, turn it upside down and press the can straight onto the filling valve for a few seconds. Give it a few minutes before lighting so the gas can return to room temperature. If the flame sputters or stays weak, bleed the remaining gas and trapped air from the tank first, then fill it again.
When lighting, hold the flame just below the foot of the cigar and rotate the cigar slowly. Keep the tip out of the flame itself, or you will scorch the tobacco instead of toasting it.
