The BipodeXt MSR Pro Gen4 is a rifle stabilizer that places your bipod more than 40 cm further forward than the usual spot on the fore-end, right up to or near the muzzle. Rail agnostic thanks to the A&P combo mount
Where earlier generations forced you to choose an ARCA or a Picatinny mounting post, and to swap hardware when you changed rifles, Gen4 fixes that. Every Gen4 MSR ships with the A&P combo mounting post that clamps directly to both ARCA and Picatinny rails. You move the BipodeXt between rifles in seconds, with no tools and no post changes. If you own multiple rifles with different rail systems, the Gen4 MSR is built to live on all of them. The dual quick-detach levers, with two locking bars of 2 inches each, give a combined 4 inches of purchase area over a 5.1 inch span, so even heavier rifles sit tight and without fore-end pinching points.
Easy cant correction and better recoil management
The round tubes make cant correction simple. In most cases you correct cant with the tube clamp lever, without getting out from behind your rifle, and the included bubble level helps you do it. You no longer have to work the bipod to get level, which saves real time on the range. If the only available rest is a tree trunk or a wall, rotate the tubes 90 degrees and rest against that vertical surface. On top of that, recoil is mitigated and becomes easier to manage, so target re-acquisition is much faster and you can often spot your own hits.
Who the BipodeXt MSR Pro Gen4 is for
This stabilizer is made for precision and long range shooters who want to get everything out of their setup, think ELR, PRS and tactical shooters running heavy rifles. On Picatinny the MSR Pro is rated for cartridges up to .375 CheyTac, on ARCA up to .300 Winchester Magnum. The maximum rifle weight is 13.6 kg, excluding the bipod itself. In short, where a normal bipod runs out of stability, the BipodeXt keeps going.
How to use the stabilizer
Clamp the A&P combo mounting post onto the ARCA or Picatinny rail of your fore-end and lock the quick-detach levers. Mount your own bipod on the resting point at the front, the MSR Pro accepts ARCA, Picatinny and, through a separate adapter, a Harris sling swivel stud. Set the length you want with the extending tube, from 38.6 cm contracted to 55.9 cm fully extended. Check your cant with the bubble level and correct it with the tube clamp if needed.
