BipodeXt ELR Max A&P Gen4 rifle stabilizer - Accuracy Solutions
The ELR Max is built for the heaviest rifles and the largest calibres. .416 Barrett, .460 Steyr, .50 BMG. Rifles weighing 20, 25, 30 kg. The recoil from those calibres does things to a conventional bipod setup that you will never see with a 6.5 Creedmoor. The ELR Max is designed to handle that.
What it does
The BipodeXt moves the point where your bipod supports your rifle. Instead of halfway along the forend, your bipod now sits dozens of centimetres further forward, toward the muzzle or even past it. That fundamentally changes the leverage geometry of your system. Unintended movements at the stock get amplified less toward the target. The crosshairs sit calmer. Recoil is absorbed better. And you can spot your own impacts through the scope, something that rarely works with conventional bipod setups at ELR distances.
Gen4: ARCA and picatinny in one
The fourth generation introduces the A&P Front Plug. One plug that you can configure for ARCA Swiss or picatinny bipod mounting. No separate parts to order, no swapping plugs. Flip it and you switch from one system to the other. On the ARCA side there are three 10-32 tapped holes for mounting additional picatinny rails or the Queen's Equalizer Kit.
Carbon tubes
Two telescoping 3K carbon fibre tubes. Extended, the ELR Max reaches approximately 101 cm, collapsed it measures 51 cm. The outer tube has a diameter of 57 mm. The progressive wall thickness keeps the tubes rigid over their full length, even when fully extended. Designed, tested and manufactured in the USA.
Unimount
The Unimount clamps the BipodeXt to your rifle with three large QD levers. On and off in seconds, no tools. The bottom of the Unimount base is machined to ARCA Swiss specification, so you can mount additional accessories on it. The three short picatinny rails on the outer tube are intended for accessories such as a MagnetoSpeed chronograph (via a separate adapter).
Cant correction
The round carbon tubes rotate inside the clamps. That means you can correct your cant by opening the base clamp, rotating the tube, and locking it again. All from your shooting position, without getting out from behind your rifle. In ELR where every second counts and you do not want to lose your position, that is a feature you use more often than you expect.

Warning for ARCA mounting
With large calibres and heavy recoil the BipodeXt can gradually creep along the ARCA rail during firing. Check regularly that the clamp is still tight. With picatinny mounting this does not occur due to the mechanical lock. For the heaviest calibres Accuracy Solutions recommends picatinny mounting.
