Cigar ashtray matte black for 2 cigars - Adorini
Setting a cigar down is half the ritual. You reach for your drink, the conversation carries on, and the cigar needs somewhere safe to wait.
That is the job this Adorini ashtray does well. A wooden body with a matte black finish surrounds a gold-tone metal bowl, a pairing that looks calm and considered on a desk, a bar top or a coffee table. A small Adorini logo sits at the front right, and nothing else competes for attention.
Features
The footprint is 19.5 by 15 centimetres, small enough for a side table. The weight is another story. At 1065 grams it stays planted when you tap off ash, and a breeze on the terrace will not move it.
There is a rest on each long side, so two people can put their cigars down at the same time. The bowl is built into the frame and cannot be removed. Underneath, a layer of black velvet keeps wooden or glass surfaces free of scratches.
Why matte
A matte surface hides fingerprints and fine ash far better than high gloss, which matters on something you use every day.
Where it fits
On the patio, in the man cave, or in the clubhouse after an afternoon at the range. Wherever two people light up together, this ashtray belongs on the table. Pair it with an Adorini Neptun cutter or a double cigar punch for a matching set from a single maker. Keeping your cigars in an Adorini Cube humidor in black? Then the two sit together nicely.
The gift box also makes it an easy present for any cigar smoker.
Using and cleaning it
Never stub a cigar out. Lay it in the rest and let it go out by itself, which avoids the harsh, bitter smell a crushed cigar leaves behind.
Since the bowl is fixed, you empty the ashtray by turning it carefully over a bin once the ash has cooled completely. A dry or slightly damp cloth does the rest. Keep it away from the dishwasher and the tap, as water will damage the wood and the matte coating.
Who it is for
For the cigar smoker who wants something solid, good looking and built to last. If you usually smoke alone, you will always have a spare rest ready for a guest.
