A loose cigar in a jacket pocket rarely makes it through an evening out in one piece.

This Adorini case is the fix. Two leather sections slide over each other, finished in a burnished vintage brown that darkens towards the edges. The leather feels substantial in the hand and builds its own patina over the years. A small Adorini logo sits on the front.

Features

Because the halves telescope, the length runs from 16 to 21 centimetres. Set it to match your cigars and they stay put instead of sliding about. A robusto fits as comfortably as a longer churchill.

Spanish cedar lining

Inside, the case is lined with Spanish cedar, the same wood used in a quality humidor. It does not draw moisture out of your cigars and lends them a gentle woody note.

Capacity and divider

There is room for two or three cigars up to a 63 ring gauge. Carrying just one? Slot the removable cedar divider in beside it to hold the cigar steady and protect the wrapper. At 117 grams, you will barely notice it in your pocket.

Looking after it

Take your cigars out of the humidor just before you leave. A case keeps them in good shape for a day or a few days, but it does not regulate humidity the way a humidor does.

Never leave the case in a hot car, as heat dries out both the leather and the cigars. A thin coat of leather balm once a year keeps the leather supple. Leave the cedar lining untreated.
