Cordura Rifle Large range bag - Ulfhednar
A good range bag is like a toolbox. Everything has its place, you find what you need immediately, and you forget nothing. The Ulfhednar Cordura Rifle Large is exactly that. Big enough for a full day at the range with everything you need: ammunition, cleaning kit, tools, oil, ear protection, calliper, notepad, bottle of water. And it all sits organised inside, not as a bin you have to dig through.
Material and construction
The bag is made from Cordura, a material you know from military applications. Abrasion resistant, tear resistant, water repellent. Throw it on a wet shooting mat or in the mud and your gear stays dry. The zippers are YKK, the industry standard for reliability. The bag is padded firmly enough to stand upright when empty. Sounds like a detail, but it makes packing and unpacking much easier.
Main compartment
The large top flap opens the main compartment. Spacious. Inside sits a removable inner bag with its own handles. That inner bag has Velcro on the walls where you place dividers to create compartments in whatever size you want. Both sides of the inner bag have their own zippered pockets. Remove the inner bag and you have one large open compartment for bigger items. Leave it in and you have a tightly organised system with separate sections.
Front compartment with magazine holders
The wide front compartment is more than a simple pocket. On the inside there is a strip with loops for magazines, attached with Velcro so you can reposition or remove it. Behind that strip sits a hidden zippered pocket. This compartment also contains a cleaning mat of roughly 120 cm. One side fabric, other side rubber. Unfold it, put your tools on it, done. The side flap of this compartment has a soft Amara lining that folds out as a mini work surface for small maintenance jobs in the field.
Side pockets and rear
On the right there is a zippered pocket with a transparent ID window on the outside. On the left a zippered pocket with a bottle holder next to it. At the rear two zippered pockets side by side, with open slots along the back wall for smaller items. There is also a separate pocket for spent brass so it does not roll around your entire bag.
MOLLE and carrying comfort
The lid and sides have MOLLE loops. Attach extra pouches, an IFAK, a knife, whatever you need. The included shoulder strap is ergonomically shaped with non-slip material on the shoulder section. Length adjustable and detachable via the D-rings on the sides. Two sturdy handles on top for short carries.
