BurstFire Precision Pro 2-in-1: Innovative Induction Annealer & Case Prep Center

Precision starts with proper case preparation. The BurstFire Precision Pro 2-in-1 combines induction annealing and case prepping into one compact unit, allowing you to work faster, safer, and more accurately. Whether you're loading match-grade ammunition or chasing the tightest groups at long range, this machine takes your reloading process to the next level.

⚠️ Important upon receipt:
The first batch of this product is shipped with US plugs (Type A/B) and does not include European plugs. You will need a suitable travel adapter or plug converter (US to EU). Additionally, always check before use that the voltage switch is set to 220V and not 110V. Operating on the wrong voltage may damage the unit and is not covered by warranty.

What is the BurstFire Precision Pro 2-in-1?

The BurstFire Precision Pro 2-in-1 is designed for the serious reloader who values both efficiency and precision. The unit integrates two essential functions into one system:

  • Induction Annealing Machine
Uses induction heating for a consistent and repeatable heat treatment of your cases. This significantly extends brass life, improves tensile strength, and ensures more consistent neck tension, essential for tight groups at long range.
  • Case Prep Center
Equipped with six powerful, independent motor stations for operations such as inside and outside deburring, primer pocket uniforming, flash hole deburring, and chamfering. Everything you need for perfect case preparation in one workstation.

A major advantage is the multi-caliber turret, which allows you to quickly and easily switch between different calibers without purchasing additional pilots or caliber-specific parts. Ideal for reloaders working with multiple calibers, from .223 Remington to .338 Lapua Magnum.

Key Features

  • Induction Annealing
Precise and repeatable heat treatment without open gas flames. This not only increases safety but also eliminates the temperature fluctuations common with traditional flame annealing. The result: consistently annealed cases, every time.
  • Automatic Case Feeding
The gravity-fed system automatically feeds cases into the heating station. This minimizes manual handling and significantly increases throughput.
  • Powerful Case Prep Center with 6 Stations
Six independent motors allow multiple operations to be performed simultaneously. Deburring, uniforming, and chamfering in a single pass, saving valuable time at the reloading bench.
  • Multi-Caliber Compatible
Thanks to the universal turret system, you can switch between calibers in seconds. No additional costs for caliber-specific pilots or adapters.
  • Robust Construction
Solidly built with high-quality materials for long-term, heavy-duty use. An investment that will last for years.

Why is Annealing Essential for Precision Shooting?

Every time a cartridge is fired, the brass case is subjected to extreme forces. The brass expands under chamber pressure and is then resized back to its original dimensions during reloading. This repeated cycle of expansion and contraction causes work hardening: the brass in the neck and shoulder becomes progressively harder and more brittle. After multiple reloads, the brass loses its elasticity, eventually leading to neck splits, and the end of your case's useful life.

Annealing completely reverses this process. By heating the case neck and shoulder in a controlled manner to the correct temperature range (approximately 750–900°F / 400–480°C), the crystal structure of the brass is reset. The brass becomes ductile and springy again, just as it was when it left the factory. Experienced reloaders who consistently anneal after every firing regularly achieve 20 to 40+ reloads from premium brass such as Lapua, compared to just 4 to 8 reloads before neck splits typically occur without annealing.

Consistent Neck Tension

For precision shooters, neck tension, the force with which the case neck grips the bullet, is one of the most critical factors for consistency. Uniform neck tension ensures that every bullet is released with the same resistance upon firing. This results in more uniform internal ballistics and consequently lower velocity spread (ES/SD). When cases become work hardened, the elasticity of the brass varies from case to case. One neck springs back more after sizing than another, leading to inconsistent neck tension. The result: varying bullet release, higher velocity spread, and larger groups at distance.

By annealing before every reload cycle, the brass always maintains the same hardness and springback characteristics. After sizing, every case neck springs back identically, resulting in extremely consistent neck tension across the entire batch. Top benchrest shooters and 1000-yard competitive shooters consider annealing an indispensable step in their workflow.

Less Runout, Better Concentricity

Work hardened brass can also lead to variations in wall thickness and deformation during sizing, negatively affecting the concentricity (runout) of the loaded round. High runout means the bullet is not perfectly aligned with the centerline of the case, which compromises precision. Annealed brass deforms more uniformly during the sizing process, resulting in lower runout values and better bullet-to-bore alignment.

The Benefits at a Glance

  • Extended case life, prevent neck splits and get 2 to 5 times more reloads from your brass.
  • Consistent neck tension, uniform bullet release for lower ES/SD values and tighter groups.
  • Improved concentricity, less runout through uniform deformation during sizing.
  • Repeatable sizing process, eliminate spring-back variations for predictable results with every reload.
  • Long-term cost savings, premium brass such as Lapua and Peterson lasts significantly longer.

Who is the BurstFire Precision Pro 2-in-1 For?

This machine is the ideal choice for precision shooters, competitive shooters, and experienced reloaders who want to get the most out of their ammunition. By combining annealing and case prep in one unit, you not only save space on your reloading bench but also a significant amount of time in your workflow.
