Universal monopod Gen 2.1 - Bears Innovations
The Universal is the flexible one in the Bears family. Two mounting flavours, one goal: a solid rear support that fits the rifle you already own. Picatinny QD for shooters who swap between rifles, M-Lock for the modern stocks with M-Lock slots running along the underside.
Gen 2.1 brings meaningful changes where they count. The drive, meaning the threadrod and the quick nut that set your height, is now nitride brass. Hard, slick, and stable on tolerances. You feel it the moment you turn it. Smooth, no hang-ups, and it stays that way. Through a season of matches, dust, some rain, whatever you throw at it.
The foot is new too. Where the previous generation had one flat pad, this one has two skids. Small change, big result. On grass, a rubber mat, or a rear bag, the foot bites laterally, so the rifle does not drift sideways under recoil. You stay in your group and actually see your own impact through the scope.
Picatinny QD or M-Lock, which one
The picatinny QD version is the classic choice. Atlas footprint, so any picatinny adapter you already have in the drawer will fit. Quick off, quick on, handy if you move the monopod between rifles for different matches. Weighs 312 grams.
The M-Lock version bolts straight into the M-Lock slots in your stock. No extra adapter, low profile, and at 275 grams the lighter of the two. First fitment takes a bit of patience, after that it just sits. For a fixed setup, this is the cleanest solution.

Who it is for
Anyone shooting long range with real intent, who does not want to leave the rear support to chance. PRS, benchrest and ELR. Works just as well for hunters shooting from a fixed position who want a step up from a plain rear bag.
