ClickXact adapter for 1 1/4" dies - Triebel
Triebel does not only make its seating dies in the common 7/8" version. Quite a few calibers are also available with a 1 1/4" thread, such as the 6.5x55 SE, the .300 Win Mag and the 8x68 S. If you use one of those dies and want to fit the ClickXact fine adjuster, you run into one problem: the thread does not match.
The ClickXact has an M18x1 thread, which makes it fit all Triebel 7/8" seating dies, both the standard seaters with crimp function and the Bench Rest seaters. The head of a 1 1/4" die has an M26x1.5 thread. This adapter forms the link between the two. You fit the adapter to your 1 1/4" die and mount the ClickXact on top, so you work with the same precision here as on your 7/8" dies.
What the ClickXact gives you
A seating die without a fine adjuster is set with the stem and a lock nut. That works, but returning to a seating depth you found earlier is tricky and a small correction stays guesswork. With the ClickXact you adjust seating depth in tactile 0.02 mm clicks (around 0.0008"), with a total adjustment range of 12 mm. You read the setting off the engraved scale, note it with your load and dial it back in later in a few clicks. Handy when tuning your jump to the lands, and when switching between bullet types.
If you own both 7/8" and 1 1/4" Triebel dies, this adapter means you do not need a second fine adjuster. One ClickXact simply moves from die to die.
Good to know
This adapter is intended only for Triebel 1 1/4" dies and the Triebel ClickXact fine adjuster. The ClickXact is not included, you can find it separately as the Triebel ClickXact micrometer attachment. Not sure whether your die has a 1 1/4" or 7/8" thread? Check the outer diameter of the die or the packaging.
