Endurance ED 20-60x68 Spotting Scope - Hawke
A spotter doesn't have to be expensive to perform well. The Endurance ED sits in Hawke's mid range and offers an optical package you'd normally find a few price classes higher. The ED glass is the key here. It tames the colour fringing you see on cheaper scopes around high-contrast edges, like a black bullseye against a white target face.
The 68mm objective gathers enough light for sharp group checking up to 60x magnification. It's a comfortable size. Large enough for detail at distance, small enough to carry into the field or onto the range.
Optics and image
Every lens is fully multi-coated and the BAK-4 porro prisms carry a dielectric coating. That combination lifts light transmission and contrast, even when the light works against you. On early mornings or at dusk, you'll notice a well-coated spotter stays usable longer.
The dual focus knob is a welcome detail. The coarse setting gets you close quickly, the fine setting brings the image into crisp focus. For reading impacts on paper, that makes a real difference.

In the field
The rotating body lets you adjust the viewing angle without repositioning the tripod. Handy when you switch between prone and seated shooting, or when several people look through the same scope. The retractable sunshade keeps stray light out of the image, and the twist-up eyecups work well with and without glasses.
Hawke supplies the Endurance ED with a stay-on case that stays around the scope during use. You don't need to unpack it before shooting, which helps protection on the range and in the field. The box also includes lens covers, a carry strap and a cleaning cloth.
Who it's for
This spotter suits the shooter who wants to read groups without jumping straight into the top tier. For F-Class, benchrest and general range use, the Endurance ED offers plenty of image. It's also a reliable choice for nature observation and hunting. Want advice on the right tripod or a digi-scoping adapter? Feel free to contact us.
