Summit LM-364C carbon tripod - Leofoto
For the shooter who spots at distance, a tripod is no minor detail. It determines whether your image stays steady or moves with every gust of wind. The Leofoto Summit LM-364C is built to solve that problem. It is one of the larger tripods in the Summit line, with a load capacity no spotting scope can challenge.
The legs are 10-layer carbon with a thick 36 mm top section. That gives a stable, rigid base with a load capacity of 30 kg, far more than a spotting scope with a video head weighs. The carbon dampens vibrations, so your image stays sharp and steady, even at high magnification. And despite that sturdiness the tripod weighs just 1.92 kg, folded 53 cm, so you carry it comfortably to your shooting spot.
Built for stability
The Summit line stands out for its combination of sturdiness and low weight. There is no centre column, and the platform is wide and removable. It is precisely the absence of a centre column that keeps vibration to a minimum, which at high magnification makes the difference. The platform has a 75mm half-bowl, so alongside a ball head you can mount a video head for smooth panning along a row of targets.
Flexible on any terrain
The three adjustable leg angles make the tripod suitable for almost any surface, from a flat range to rough terrain. With the legs splayed fully out you reach a minimum height of 9 cm, handy for a low viewpoint. The feet are interchangeable: rubber for hard ground, spikes for grip in grass and mud. A safety lock keeps the legs firmly in place.
