The design criteria for this press was to create the best turret ever seen on the market. Redding's engineering team began by constructing the cast-iron support for the turret, which is unmatched in reloading equipment. Then they added a very strong connection between the base and the turret, characterized by a thickness of at least 3.8" to prevent any slack.

The thread and connection guide are absolutely solid and tested, as they are shot identical to those of the Redding UltraMag press. The guide is more than an inch thick and provides perfect stability to the turret. Seven different loading stations were designed, each of which can be used to rotate and position the revolver in the correct direction. In addition, an optional device was also designed for automatically inserting primers into their housing, such a device is called "Slide Bar Automatic Primer Feeder System."

Having ensured the robustness and precision of the press, Redding has focused on very precise finishing of the details to ensure the level of precision expected of an instrument of this calibration. Redding is confident that they have created the best "Turret Press" on the market. The photo shows the T-7 Turret Press with the optional Slide Bar Automatic Primer Feeder System installed. This optional system is also adaptable to the new "Big Boss" press.
