Frankford Arsenal Platinum Series Hand Depriming Tool
The Frankford Arsenal Platinum Series Hand Depriming Tool is a compact, hand-operated tool that removes spent primers from your cases without the need for a reloading press. The body is made from die-cast aluminium and the patented Universal Collet System accommodates calibres from .20 all the way up to .338 Lapua Magnum – both rifle and pistol brass.
Deprime in four steps
The operation is straightforward. Select the right collet, insert your case, squeeze the handle and the primer is pushed out. The automatic ejection system then kicks the empty case out, so you can immediately move on to the next one. Spent primers drop into a see-through collection tube that holds over 100 primers. Full? Simply twist off, empty, and carry on.
Perfect as a standalone step in your workflow
Many reloaders prefer to deprime their brass separately, before cleaning. This allows your cleaning solution to penetrate the primer pocket as well, resulting in truly clean cases. With this hand deprimer you don't need to reconfigure your entire press just for depriming. Place it next to your rotary tumbler or brass cleaner and you have an efficient workflow.
Even military brass with crimped primers is no problem thanks to the solid aluminium construction and full-length ergonomic grip. You can run longer sessions without hand fatigue.
Three collets for universal use
The tool ships with three collets that together cover the full range from .20 to .338 Lapua. Switching between calibres is as simple as swapping the collet – no extra shell holders or adapters required. The decapping pin has a standard 0.08" diameter and is replaceable should it wear out.
