L.E.M. Exclusive 9 electromagnetic case cleaner - Shooting Technology
Electromagnetic case cleaning works differently from tumbling or ultrasonic methods. The machine generates a rotating magnetic field that drives thousands of stainless steel micro-needles across every surface of your brass: outside, inside, neck, and primer pocket. That last point is what tumblers can't match. After a single short cycle, your brass comes out looking genuinely new.
The Exclusive 9 is the most powerful machine in the L.E.M. line. Nine magnets fixed to an aluminum alloy plate produce a stronger rotating field than the standard Exclusive or the Plus. Combined with the DC motor and its dedicated electronic board, this delivers a speed range from 600 to 2,800 RPM. More power, more rotational speed, shorter cleaning times.
What sets the Exclusive 9 apart from simpler electromagnetic cleaners is the automatic washing program. Select the automatic mode and the electronic board independently varies the motor speed throughout the cycle. That variation means the micro-needles approach the brass from constantly changing angles, producing a more thorough clean than a fixed RPM ever could. At the end of the cycle, the machine stops itself. Pistol brass is done in 10 to 15 minutes, rifle brass in 20 to 30 minutes.
We saw and tested the Exclusive 9 ourselves at IWA 2026 in Nuremberg. The machine makes a strong impression: quiet, compact for what it delivers, and the cleaning results are genuinely excellent. Shooting Technology has clearly put serious work into calibrating the automatic program. How the Exclusive 9 compares to other L.E.M. models
The L.E.M. range covers four models. The L.E.M. Plus is the entry-level machine with an AC motor. The Deluxe and standard Exclusive add a DC motor and electronic board for a wider RPM range. The Exclusive 9 sits at the top: nine magnets instead of the standard arrangement, and the same automatic program as the regular Exclusive, but with more power behind every RPM setting. For shooters regularly cleaning large batches of rifle brass, or anyone who wants the best possible results, the 9 is the logical choice.
