8-32 adapter for 3-in-1 primer pocket correction tools - K&M
The K&M 3-in-1 primer pocket correction tool is one of the finest pieces of kit for working your primer pockets. As standard you use it with a 1/4" hex, in a drill or screwdriver. But anyone working a lot of cases often prefers the control and constant speed of a case prep center. That is what this adapter is for.
The adapter converts your 3-in-1 tool from a 1/4" hex to an 8-32 drive. You unscrew the stainless steel 1/4" hex from the tool and thread this adapter into place. After that you run the tool on a case prep center, at a fixed and controlled speed. That makes the difference: no fluctuating drill speed that can overwork your pockets, but a controlled, repeatable cut. Case after case the same depth, the same finish.
Build quality
The adapter is made from high-strength stainless steel. The 8-32 set screw is Grade 8 and zinc plated, and is retained with red Loctite so the connection stays firmly in place. Like all K&M kit, this part is made in Holland, Michigan in the United States, with the precision K&M is known for.
Please note: compatibility
This adapter is intended for the current 3-in-1 primer pocket correction tools with a stainless steel 1/4" hex. It is not compatible with older models that have a black-oxide 1/4" hex drive stem, because those have a 10-32 thread. Not sure which version you have? Just email us and we will work it out together.
